Welcome from the Headteacher, Mr Hall.

It is with great joy and pride that I welcome you to Stone with Woodford C of E Primary School, where we are dedicated to helping our students “Let Their Light Shine” (Matthew 5:16) . Whether you are a prospective parent, a current member of our community, or simply curious about who we are, I hope this website gives you a clear sense of our vision, values and the vibrant life of our school.

We believe every child is a unique gift from God and our school is a place where kindness, respect and resilience are nurtured and flourish. We strive to create a safe and inspiring environment where children feel loved, challenged and empowered to become the best version of themselves.

Our school, founded in 1895 and located in Gloucestershire, is a voluntary controlled, small Church of England school that combines a warm and friendly atmosphere with high standards of educational achievement. We are proud to be part of the Severn Federation Academy Trust, a family of creative schools, learning together in inclusive, inspiring and nurturing communities where all children and adults are loved and achieve their best.

At Stone with Woodford, we believe in putting enjoyment at the heart of every child’s education within a Christian context, and strive to create a welcoming, inclusive community where every student is valued and respected.

Our facilities include four classrooms (which allows for plenty of space for our three classes to spread out when needed), a hall, two offices, a library, and additional rooms in our redeveloped cottage. We make excellent use of the space we have and are well-equipped to support the growth and development of our students, giving them every opportunity to flourish and thrive both as learners and as members of society.
