Mrs Mitchell-Mallon

Skylark Class is a combination of our Y2, Y3 and some Y4 children, and is where they continue their National Curriculum journey. They get off to a fantastic start with curious questions being posed, excellent teaching and a positive atmosphere. The Key Stage 1 journey is a special and critical one and it is great to see the learning that these children do each day as they complete their KS1 programme of study and begin their adventure in to Key Stage 2, with a curriculum based on answering key questions in each subject.

The teaching of English and maths is split in Skylark class so the Y2 children receive they key learning they require, whilst the Y3 and Y4 children come together for their KS2 learning. The class is well supported by experienced and fantastic TAs, Mrs Booth and Miss MacDougall.
